EYE CARE RECOMMENDATIONS:
Your eyes are also windows to your overall health, and an eye exam can also uncover underlying health issues such as Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and brain or eye tumors.
Regular eye exams are recommended:
Children: A complete comprehensive eye exam should be done between 6 and 9 months of age. At least one eye exam should be done between 2 to 5 years of age and then once a year once he/she starts school.
Adults (19 to 64): At least once every 2 years
Adults (65+): At least once a year
WARRANTY INFORMATION:
Lens & Frames: All new frames (Rx and Sun) purchased from BOOM Optical, as well as all lenses are covered under a one year manufacturing warranty for defects. Boom Optical is not in any way responsible for any customers frames or lenses NOT purchased at Boom Optical. For example, it is at the customer’s own risk if he/she brings their own frames (not purchased from BOOM Optical) for adjustments, repairs, and/or new prescription orders. We are not responsible for any damages that already may exist on customer’s own frames and lenses. Finally, frame warranty is voided once lenses are done elsewhere.
Please note: Lenses are scratch resistant and not scratch proof. As such, warranty will not cover any damages caused by expected normal wear and tear, and any abuse or misuse.
Prescription Changes:
If your prescription changes within 30 days due to doctor’s error, BOOM optical will replace your lenses free of charge! Note: a doctor’s note is required.
If your prescription changes within 30 days due to medical reasons such as laser surgery, cataract surgery, BOOM optical will replace your lenses free of charge! If a 2nd replacement is required, you will receive 25% off your purchase.
Progressive Lenses: If you are unable to adapt to your progressive lenses within 30 days of dispensing, BOOM optical will replace your lenses with any design of your choice of equal or lesser value, free of charge! Replacements will be done as a straight exchange due to the complexities and customization of each lens.
Cleanings & Adjustments: Free of charge! This includes replacing
nose pads and lost screws for any eyewear purchased at Boom Optical, so don’t hesitate in reaching out.
